Terms of Service

Last updated 10 July 2026. This is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by an attorney.

1. About this document

MoolaLend is a receivables finance platform. This Terms of Service document describes, in good faith, the terms that would govern use of the platform — it has not yet been reviewed by an attorney and should not be treated as a final, binding legal agreement until it has been.

By creating an account or submitting an application, you acknowledge that figures, decisions and offer terms shown on the platform are simulated for illustration.

2. The service

MoolaLend provides receivables finance (invoice discounting) to registered private-sector businesses in South Africa. Eligible clients may submit invoices owed by approved private-sector debtors for automated or manual credit assessment, and, if approved, receive an advance against the invoice value with the balance released once the debtor settles.

MoolaLend does not purchase or advance against invoices owed by national, provincial or local government departments, municipalities, or state-owned entities.

3. Eligibility and know-your-business (KYB)

To use the platform you must be a registered South African company or close corporation with a valid CIPC registration number, and you must provide accurate information about your business, its directors, and the invoices you submit.

You agree to provide supporting documentation (including your CIPC registration certificate, proof of business address, and director identification) truthfully and to notify MoolaLend if any of this information changes materially.

4. Fees

Funding terms are rating-based and disclosed to you before you accept an offer, including the advance rate, origination fee, finance charge, and reserve fee applicable to your invoice. MoolaLend reserves the right to adjust its pricing model for future applications; changes do not apply retroactively to funded deals.

5. Decisions and human review

Applications are assessed by an automated risk engine. A strong automated result ("pre-approved") is an indicative decision only — a human reviewer at MoolaLend must confirm approval before any funds are disbursed. MoolaLend may decline, refer for manual review, or request further information at its discretion.

6. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

7. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. MoolaLend may suspend or terminate an account for suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of these terms, without prejudice to any obligations already accrued (such as repayment of an outstanding advance).

8. Liability

The platform, and any figures or indicative terms it displays, are provided "as is". MoolaLend is not liable for decisions made in reliance on simulated or indicative figures shown before a human-confirmed, final offer is issued.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be directed to the MoolaLend team through the contact details provided to you separately.
